SUPPLIED BY GRACE

2 Corinthians 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work

God’s supply exists because of His grace and is available to you through the finished work of Jesus at the cross.

Forgiveness has been supplied in Christ Jesus. Righteousness is supplied in Christ Jesus. Jesus is also your source of supply when it comes to healing, provision and whatever else you need in life. This is why God says that He is able to make all grace abound towards you – because all His grace was deposited in the person of Jesus.

But it's possible for someone who is sick to have this abounding grace around them, yet that abounding grace does not heal their body. Likewise, a person who is in lack can have this abounding grace all over them, but still, they do not see the provision of that grace abound in their life.

Why is this?

It is because of what they keep looking to and acknowledging in their life. If you keep looking at the sickness or the lack, and that’s what you keep acknowledging, that’s what you will keep possessing.

Hebrews 12:2 Looking to Jesus the author and finisher (perfector) of your faith…

This is telling you two things about seeing God’s abounding grace supplying you with everything you need:

  1. You must be looking to Jesus and not to the problem. Stop looking to the sickness or acknowledging the sickness. Stop looking at your bank account and what is not there. Look to Jesus who is the source of healing and provision.

  2. You must believe and receive by faith. Faith is not living according to your feelings, emotions or circumstances – it is carrying the hope of God and believing in it!

What do you hope for?

Is it financial provision? 2 Corinthians 9:6-8 says to step out in faith and take out of what God has supplied you with, and sow it back into His Kingdom. But to consume or withhold what has been provided to you demonstrates a lack of faith in God. Grace is always accessed through faith.

Is it healing? Mark 11:24 says to step out in faith and start acting like you are already healed. Stop looking into the mirror or checking every day to see if you are improving. Instead, look to Jesus every day as the source of your healing.

Jesus regularly called forth what He wanted – and that’s what He saw materializing. Call forth God’s Word over your life. Don’t just give, but also declare, “My God shall supply all my need according to His riches in Christ Jesus”. Don’t just believe for your healing, start declaring “Father, although my health is under attack, I thank you that by Jesus stripes I was healed”.
