DECLARE GOD'S DREAM OVER YOUR LIFE

Genesis 12:2 “I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.

I love what God said to Abraham here in Genesis 12:2 because it's also an amazing promise for you as a Believer in Christ.

Galatians 3:29 says, “If you belong to Christ then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise”. Galatians 4:28 says, “Now you brothers and sisters, like Isaac, are children of promise”.

What the scriptures are saying is the same blessing that was bestowed upon Abraham, upon Isaac, and Jacob also (thousands of years ago) belongs to you because you are now in Christ.

A key to walking in that Promise is to declare them over your life in faith.

You need to believe and declare that God’s dream for you will not be stopped by people, by disappointments or setbacks. For every problem or adversity that rises up against your dream, God has solutions and wisdom for all of them. He will bring the right people at the right time into your life to help you fulfill His dream.

Isaiah 46:10 says, God knows the beginning from the end. God knows every disappointment, every setback, every challenge but the good news is your story ends in victory. And whenever you go through a difficult chapter in your life you need to understand that is all it is – a chapter. It will not define your life.

When the dream God promised Abraham seemed to be taking forever, God revealed something powerful to Abraham and Sarah that He also wants you to understand. He changed their vision and their declaration.

In Genesis 15:5 God took Abraham outside of his tent and gave him a powerful vision. He said to look up at the night stars. That is a picture of your descendants, they shall be many! In Genesis 17 God confirms the covenant He established with Abraham and does something special, God changes their names. From Abram to Abraham (“father”) and Sarai to Sarah (“princess of many”). God changed their names to change what they would declare over one another!

What do you need to change about your daily declaration of God’s dream for your life?

God gave Abraham a vision that he could meditate and dream about every day. All he had to do was look up at the night sky and he was reminded of God’s dream and by changing their names, their daily declaration lined up with God’s dream!

Discover what God’s dream for your life is. And then declare it daily. If you don’t know yet, declare daily that His dream for you is coming to pass!
