GRACE OVERPOWERS CONDEMNATION

2 Corinthians 3:7-9 …For if the ministry of condemnation had glory, the ministry of righteousness exceeds much more in glory.

This scripture is talking about when Moses received the Ten Commandments from God on Mount Sinai. When he came back down his countenance was so bright that the Israelites could not look at him. Paul says if the Law which is dead works can shine like that, how much more Grace, which brings the righteousness of God!

The Ten Commandments or the ministry of the Law was a ministry that brought condemnation. All the Law does is tell you what is wrong with you. But grace does not tell you what is wrong with you or what you have done wrong – it tells you what is right about you!

Romans 8:1: Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.

There is no condemnation for the Believer in Christ because Jesus was condemned in your place. Jesus was judged in your place. Jesus became sin upon that cross and He was fully punished for all your sins. You are now under a more glorious ministry called the ministry of righteousness that brings life to all your circumstances.

Romans 5:15: … how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!

Grace, which is in abundant supply and will never run out and the gift of righteousness are what enable you to reign in life! The more you grow in your understanding and revelation of God’s grace and His righteousness, the more you will see yourself reigning in life. Reigning does not come through your works or your effort, it comes through the work of God’s grace and His righteousness in your life.

I read a story about a man who was US$166,000 in debt (HK$1.3 million). The first time he started reading Joseph Prince’s book – “Destined to Reign”, he received a supernatural breakthrough from the heavy burden of condemnation. He had made so many bad mistakes in life that he was under a perpetual weight of self-condemnation. But he was set free from condemnation by grace.

The second time he read the book another miracle occurred. He was set free from the debt that he was under. Completely set free and now fully alive!

Well after the third time of reading the book another miracle took place. His daughter was radically saved and she is now on fire for the Lord.

None of these miracles came through the hard work of self-effort – they came in direct proportion to the revelation of God’s grace and His righteousness that this man was receiving. It’s interesting to note how grace goes to work in your life – it starts by transforming you within, dealing with fears, condemnation and other vices that enslave you. Then it goes to work on those things on the outside – like sickness, debt and the salvation of loved ones.

Do you need a breakthrough? Keep reading and hearing the message of grace and righteousness and they will provide your miracle for you!
